Caravan #1 Complete

Caravan #1 made its way to Columbus last evening, three cars and 14 tubs of stuff strong. I think at this point, I’ve gotten about 50% done with moving the stuff portion of my things, and it does serve to remind me just how much I’ve accumulated over the years. I say years because most of it was accumulated before I even moved up to Edgewater where I am moving from now.

What’s it all worth? Well, probably something. There’s tons of strategy guides, more old cartridges and discs then I know what to do with, and lots of cables and cords. I probably have two of every kind of cable I’ll need for the rest of my life!

So what’s it worth and what does it mean? Well, it means my first order of business once I get to Columbus full time will be to start to go through them and dwindle the stack down to about half its size by the time I had to move again. So many of the things were old retail chain giveaways (penny guides), and things that I didn’t have to buy but more amassed, that I know I’ll never use. It’s about time I made a few bucks on it.

So hopefully the gas bills incurred with hauling these a city away will be nicely offset by the profits made on selling them (and the good feeling I’ll get from giving some bits away to friends!)
