Why would I make such a drastic claim as this? Simple really … MC Hammer has a blog! This link points to the story where I read about it, but apparently the new Hammer is a gadget freak and frequenter of a lot of the same internet hotspots that us non-baggy-pant wearers are!
That is all, maybe some links later today.

Here’s a question for everyone and a bit of lamenting:
- Is a EDGE PC Card worth it? I found a card that I could buy for $100 the other day which would not add a cent to my wireless bill every month and give me close to DSL speeds through T-Mobile’s 3G network (it’s EDGE in the US). It’s the Sony Ericcson GC89, and it would work with the WiFi networks out of the box too, so I could ditch my old card and just use this.
I’m sure that I would use it, how much is debateable, but the added cost to my account is zero monthly since I already have an unlimited data plan with the Sidekick. What do you think? Also, has anyone tried this with a newer Mac that has PCMCIA built in?
- My Sidekick 2 has succumb to a problem, thankfully within the one year warranty by about 2 months’ time. The earpiece stopped working yesterday. T-Mobile is gonna replace it within a week and a half, the only downer is that I have to send them my phone first. I’m ok with it because I found my old Sony Ericcson T610 to use in the meantime, but I can see how this would be a major inconvience to a lot of people. Now I’m gonna have to call T-Mobile, they have a “Desktop Interface” that allows you to access the Sidekick info from your PC (which I kinda need), but it’s not working for me.
A friend was going to set me up with a development key. I’m kinda glad that I procrastinated on it!
