This is a great blog post that I just discovered which talks about all of the different file sending utilities on the Internet now, there’s about 50 of ‘em! None require an e-mail signup, and they all have different features as far as download limits, size limits, and length of time that the service will retain the file.

For some of the sites that I get files from (DS homebrew stuff from China and Japan), people do this to help the replication of the file and it’s turned out to be an absolute godsend, and I use it to e-mail files to friends too instead of using attachments, works great for exchanging files with IRC buddies too. All the advantages, but none of the connection hassles.

Try ‘em, they’re worth using.
