Blue … warrior … needs … XM Radio … badly!
Filed under: Gadgets, LiveJournal; No CommentsThis is an official Scooter-style APB! What is the most affordable place to buy the basic equipment for XM Radio? I don’t mind the original SkyFi setup, I’m not picky, but I would need the car kit and the home kit to go along with it.
Any web site deals you see that are nice, let me know. I guess I could break down and pay the $150 eventually, I just don’t want to!

Halo 2 Team Skirmish - Get Ready!
Filed under: Blogger, Game Junkie; No CommentsNormally, I would not remind the peeps here of a tournament 22 days before it happens … maybe I should!
Anyways, this one is extra important to plan for cause it’s not just you, it’s you and three of your teammates in a Halo 2 Team Skirmish tournament! Some of our biggest events have been Halo 2 team events, and this will be no different! The details known so far are as follows:
Date: Saturday, April 30th, 2005
Time: Registration ends at 11:30 AM, event will begin by noon, please be early!Prizes: Guaranteed $400 in cash and prizes … and if we get as many teams as we had for the last 4-man event (16), this will go way up!
What You Need: $10 per player ($40 per team) as long as you enter before Wed. 4/27, and then $15 per player ($60 per team) thereafter. Players will also have to bring their own controllers! Timers or other controller mods are not allowed, and certain non-first party pads are also not allowed, inquire with Scooter with any questions.
The rules are still in the works, but each round will be a randomly determined Team Skirmish game, so you may get Capture The Flag, you may get some Oddball, or just straight up Team Slayer action, so you’ll have to be ready for anything!
The tournament will also be a double elimination event, so you can have a bad round and still come back to win it all.
More rules and information will be up on our web page, http://www.gamejunkie.com, very shortly, and we’ll be pimping this event all over the place! So don’t wait around, form your team, get your practice in, and sign up now!
