So yes, I went to see Danielle this weekend …. in the dead of night after I closed Friday Night Live down (not kidding), and it was another just awesome weekend! Instead of detail the weekend, I think I’ll just throw some thoughts out there:
* I’ve said it before and I’ll say it until I’m blue in the face: any relationship where the friends aren’t a part of it just isn’t healthy. This is something I always have to work towards: to make sure I don’t alienate friends in the process (I’ve given enough people a hard time about it that my death would be swift and just if I make that same error!).
So, it was great to go to Danielle’s work party and meet some of her friends and co-workers, and they are a great bunch of people who are energetic, funny, and good people on top of that, and as relaxed as Danielle is. Of course though, as one would expect from good friends, they were up to no good, which means, it was hilarious!
Apparently Nickie and Teresa, two of her friends, had joked with her that they were going to write up a contract for our relationship. Danielle didn’t think a thing of it and thought it was funny they’d suggest it (which means, they know she’d think it would be funny). So, while I am at the party, I see that Nickie has a legal pad folder in her hands. I asked why she was bringing work to the party, she played it off and I didn’t think a thing of it … and, she had figured out that I was easy going enough that I would laugh at such a thing. So, her and Teresa get this paper out and show it to me and it was the funniest and cutest thing ever!
No doubt it made me happy that her co-workers liked me, and approved of me as well, and they had cool things to say about me to Danielle on Monday which makes me feel wonderful, gives me confidence big time!
So I totally forgot what else I was going to add to this blog post, except for one short statement that I know states how I feel right now totally, so I’ll leave this entry with this post:
I love Danielle so much already!
