So in every person there is a weakness, something they do badly and struggle with. Most people have multiples of these, but mine is time. It’s my enemy, and something I am not good at managing. So today, I get here to the main job at 8:30 (grant you, the day starts at 8!), and then co-worker Larry is looking ill enough that he should be in a hospital, NOT here writing up orders.

I can’t help but thinking if my will and handling of time was a bit better, Larry wouldn’t be here, he would be somewhere, namely a hospital getting a nice large shot of antibiotics (cause he needs it). But, alas, he is here cause I’m sure he thinking I don’t have his back cause I haven’t shown to in the past.

This might be my New Year’s Resolution. Be better with time, don’t over-do each day, and plan ahead. I somehow think that can cure a lot of my ails just by making that one thing better. “Scooter Time” needs to be 5 minutes early, not 20 minutes late!

Everyone knows about Santa Claus, his ability to give gifts to all of the good boys and girls in a single night is world-known. But, did you know about Mario Claus?

Well, come in and find out! Mario Claus will be appearing at Game Junkie this Saturday the 18th from 1 PM to 3 PM. You can meet him and tell him what cool video games you want for Christmas (don’t worry, he won’t be offended if you want a Playstation 2 either!) , and get your picture taken with Mario Claus too! All pictures will be taken digitally and can be e-mailed to you at your request as well.

Not to mention, as an added bonus for this final appearance of Mario Claus this year, we will be not only reading, but distributing a coloring book for “Twas The Night Before Christmas @ Game Junkie”.

It’s for sure the most fun you’ve had doing your Christmas shopping this year, and on top of that, it’s still not too late to get your $10 Wish List discount if your kids have a wish list at our store! Just ask us for details when you come in.

So inquiring minds want to know, how good does a 43″ real projection low profile TV look? Really good!

What it comes down to for me is this. The next up is a DLP television or a true LCD, and those in a 43″ are getting up to about $2,500 and $3,000 for a set. This TV looks absolutely beautiful straight on witht he HDTV connection, it’s the kind of upgrade and picture that I’d want from a wide screen HD set.

The bad news is … now I want one! Oh well, time to save the change up so that I can play my Madden in HD, cause that’s my only choice now.

I have thoughts on that soon too. Fuckers.
