Nothing like a decent work day, things moving forward, and good conversation (which of course was not started by me, the bitter soul I can tend to be sometimes) to get a day going better.

As I type thing, I think me and Larry have just been chatting about one of our previous workers jumping ship and doing something else (I’ll leave it there unless someone asks privately), and applying one’s self, and more progressive conversations, and it’s good …. the scary thing is, Larry’s been sick this past week! Not that I want a guy to be sick to feel more relaxed himself, but I think he does. Maybe it’s the kind of thing where you’re so busy being worried about not feeling well, you don’t worry about a lot of other things that would getcha down.

For those who don’t know co-worker Larry (I have roommate Larry too), he is one of the most knowledgeable people that I know but also can be very moody, and that drives me up a wall at times. So there’s this weird parallel between liking him and not being able to tolerate him either.

Thankfully, right now, it’s on the side of things are good. Hope it stays that way.

So here is my theorem on this year’s election. More specifically then this year’s election, more like the people whom are voting!

(I would like to preface this by saying it is not desparaging of friends of mine on either side …. passion is good and healthy, although me not being a political junkie, can get a little old for me, and I respect the other side of people like myself for whom it is a big deal, just not one to talk about very much)

Fans of Bush: Very quiet, reserved, not outspoken about their candidate. If you ask them, they’ll tell you whom they want, give you a quick reason as to why, and that’s that. Everyone I’ve seen say they like Bush only mentions it, gives their reason, maybe says one thing about why they don’t like Kerry, and the end.

Fans of Kerry: In three words: Fire Breathing Dragons! They will go on and on and on and on about why Bush sucks, with some mentions of why they like Kerry, but mostly why they hate Bush and the past four years. The less passionate ones will basically call Kerry the lesser of two evils …. keyword there, evil.

I guess this is why I don’t talk much politics. Cause I’m in the first camp, a Bush supporter. I don’t agree with all of his views, and I’m more a moderate cause I have some views that side on the Democratic, but I also think that Bush is better for the business sector in the end, and thus, better on my own personal bottom line.

And with any good election (and this is), there are multiple other theorems.

I offer one for Bush …. that the betting crowd thinks he will win.

And one for Kerry …. derived from the NFL and thanks to Brett Favre!

So this weekend was a blah weekend …. a little depressed, a little bit worn down, and that’s after sleeping a ton, to the point of not even really wanting to sleep in the futon since the mattress is a bit thin and the bars were hurting. After some non-critical analysis, I’ve come to this conclusion:

I, Scott Vieth, am burned out!

Yeah, big shocker …. working 70 hours a week and then I just hit a wall where I am begging for every pinch of sleep I can get and immersed in so many projects I can’t seem to get any of them going to their full potential. Yes, this is my life …. no solutions yet, just lots to do!

The one thing I’d love to see on this JunkieBlog more then anything is comments. I want to know what you think, your ideas, your thoughts, your insults …. well, take that back on the third thing, be nice now!

Anyways, our ArcadeStation is capable of hosting hundreds of great classic games. We’ve got about 100 of these games enabled currently, from personal favorites (RBI Baseball!) to great fighters (Street Fighter & Mortal Kombat) to the true classics of the day (Pac Man & Galaga). But the real question, is, what do you want?

Get an account on blogger (you don’t have to blog, you can just write comments, and I want them!), and let me know what games interest you, that you haven’t played in 10 years, that you’d want to use your hard earned tokens on! You can e-mail me at scooter@gamejunkie.com with any specific games you want to add too, but c’mon, it’s more fun to have a good spirited discussion here!
