RSS Feed Now Available - Never miss a post!
Filed under: Blogger; No CommentsFor those of you who are well versed in the ways of the web browser, you already know about RSS feeds. These are a way to keep in touch with your favorite web sites, without ever having to wade through pages or navigating the ‘net, the news comes to you!
Many of the new browsers on the market are already supporting this, and more will be soon, Mozilla and Firefox already have RSS support embedded in, and Safari for Mac users will have this added with their next version, not to mention a plethera of free readers on the ‘net now too.
What does this mean to you? You can find out the latest happenings with Game Junkie and the Scooter’s JunkieBlog, by subscribing to the RSS feed! With Firefox and Mozilla, the latest posts will automatically be entered into your bookmarks folder, and with RSS reader programs, you can just browse as you see fit.
No hassle, no big deal … if you have a browser that’s compatible, just look for the “RSS” icon. If not, find a good RSS reader and link to http://scooter-gj.blogspot.com/atom.xml. Enjoy it!
(Note, the link is gone since this blog has moved to its own domain)

And now for something completely Andy Rooney …
Filed under: LiveJournal, Personal; No Comments“Y’ever had something happen where …. ”
You ever laid down for a lunch nap, and you have the most lucid dreams imaginable, so much so that when you wake up (in my case, when my cell phone buzzes me to wake up), you’re dazed and confused for like another hour? I had one of those.
The weirdest thing. I don’t dream at home in my bed, ever …. I sleep on this couch for a lunch nap and I can’t stop dreaming, really weird stuff too. I don’t want to know what’s in the water here!

Tuesday, Tuesday
Filed under: LiveJournal, Personal; No CommentsI don’t think I have ever shared by basic theorem on Tuesday’s, and the good ‘ol American work week in general, so here it goes:
Monday: Not that bad! In fact, it’s underrated. Everyone sykes themself up for the end of the actual weekend, so since everyone is so afraid of Monday, it never turns out to be as bad as people think it is … not to mention in the Winter? It’s Monday Night Football too!
Tuesday: Sucks … totally sucks, and in fact is overrated as a day. You’re mired into the week now, you don’t have that initial boost, and the weekend is not in sight yet … it’s just a day to plod through, and if you do, the rest of the week will be fine. Oh yes, and as a “double suck” for this day, I can’t even find a decent place with 25 cent wings anymore! Curse you economy that makes my Spicy Garlic craving expensive!!
Wednesday - Friday: Now the weekend comes into sight and it’s all downhill from there, and usually good. So nothing special to say about any of these days, except that they’re nothing different about them.
So there you go. Why Tuesday’s suck. Gimme feedback and thoughts, I want it on this one!
And, I might finally make the jump into learning some stuff about video editing and trying a program to do it with. I’m open to suggestions, so someone please make a program suggestion, Mac or PC (or both!) to me on this.

I’ve added three new games to the ArcadeStation!
- PacMania - Imagine Pac Man in 3D, and you can jump ghosts! It’s simple …. except it’s not!
- R-Type - The first of a bunch of 2D shooters that I want to add, and one of the classics in the genre.
- Penguin Kun Wars - A silly ‘lil tennis / volleyball / pong style game, with way-too-cute animals. It’s fun, bring in a token and try it.
If there’s a game you want to see on there, let me know, I’ll bring the power to the people and we’ll decide.
Remember too …. SMASH TOURNEY THIS SATURDAY! DECATHLON OPENING THIS SATURDAY! All awesome, all waiting here for you this weekend.
